Seafood pasta A la Gennaro

Nice recipe from Gennaro here:

  • lots of clams
  • lots of mussels
  • garlic
  • some white wine
  • olive oil
  • 400gms linguine or spaghetti
  • lots of cherry tomatoes
  • garlic
  • chilli
  • peas
  • prawns
  • salt and pepper
  • Some spiced breadcrumbs – see recipe

Cook the clams and mussels by placing in a pot with some olive oil and garlic and starting to heat, adding some white wine and then covering. When done remove the meat from the shells and keep along with the juice emerging from the cooking (strain if necessary).

Chop more garlic and start to cook with the chilli in the olive oil; add the cherry tomatoes and cook a decent amount; add the peas; add the prawns and cook through. At the end add the clams and mussels with their juice and then add the pasta with some of the pasta cooking liquid and then stir. Serve.
